The deck is a great place to while away a few hours on a somewhat lazy Sunday afternoon. I'm watching the Red River flowing North (which is contrary to my 60 + years frame of reference/experience) at a few feet below flood stage. I had the "Slawpy Pig" - pulled pork and cole slaw on one of the best rolls I've ever had - - very good sandwich! (the roll is from Dakota Hearth Bakery which is now on my gotta-try list) My only suggestion is to ask for some BBQ sauce on the side. Bartender made two pretty good Rye Old Fashions. Waitress is not particularly attentive - - I'd give her a C and tip accordingly (just 15%, I fear) In all, I'll come back and maybe try something else - or double down on the Slawpy Pig again.

As mentioned in other reviews, it wasn't very busy when I came in at 11:00 on a Wednesday. I sat at the bar. Ashley was the bartender, she greets you with a big smile and good conversation. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger and a Heineken and it was the BEST mushroom swiss burger I have ever had! It was juicy without being greasy. It was on a Kaiser roll, excellent! There was a mixup on chips versus fries, I thought I said fries, but got chips, but who knows, I may have inadvertently said chips. Anyway, it was fixed, no problem, got my fries. Ashley mentioned a place called "Chippers" which which was over the bridge on the North Dakota side. Ashley said they have potato chips dipped in chocolate and they are heavenly. I did not get a chance to go there, darn it all. There is a TV in the bar. At the time, there were game shows on or something, didn't pay attention. Oh yeah. You get a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup when you pay your bill, kind of like when Chinese restaurants give fortune cookies.....

Great place to have lunch or hang with friends, with Friendly, prompt service. Boardwalk has the grand cities best second floor outside deck for great summer nights!

What a joke. Worse nachos ever ....laughable. Maybe 4 black olives and very very little of anything else. Small plate. Not even shareable which most every place you go to nachos are a shareable appetizer. Views ok actually very nice but not worth sitting at a place that clearly tries to give as little as possible. Anyway that's my thoughts

Well, I've never gotten food here. However I have come for drinks. I honestly can't really figure out how this place stays open. I have never seen it busy. SO if you want to come and have a few drinks not a bad place, not very happening though.

Favorite place to watch the football game! Reasons: *Usually it is not crowded at all. *We can always get a TV with the game on (see last reason). *Good drinks. *Free wings with said drinks (they have other specials during the week). *Good food- big burgers, really like the fried green beans and the soup of the day. Come in and seat yourself, then you'll get service. Also- in the winter even though there are fire places the 'sun room' is still freezing. I'm a fan of veggies on my burgers, so if you are too make sure you ask for them because they're extra.
